Connecting Your Custom Domain & Free SSL

How to connect your own domain (e.g., yourbrand.com) to your Hazaans store with automated DNS verification and edge SSL.

Every Hazaans store comes with a free `.hazaans.com` subdomain, but connecting a branded custom domain (e.g., `yourbrand.com`) builds immediate buyer trust and boosts search ranking.

Step 1: Enter Your Domain in Dashboard

Navigate to `/dashboard/domains` and enter your domain name (e.g., `yourbrand.com`). Click 'Connect Domain'.

Step 2: Add DNS Records in Your Domain Provider

Log into your domain provider (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, Google Domains) and add the following records:

Navigate to DNS Management / DNS Records for your domain.

Delete any conflicting old A or CNAME records on @ and www.

Add the A record (@ -> 216.198.79.1) and CNAME record (www -> shops.hazaans.com).

Wait a few minutes, then click 'Connect / Verify' in your Hazaans dashboard.

DNS changes typically take 2–15 minutes to propagate worldwide. Once connected, your store is secured with a free SSL certificate automatically.

Step 3: Automated SSL & Active Status

Once the DNS records match, the connection status switches to 'Active' with a green checkmark. Your custom domain will automatically route to your Hazaans storefront with full HTTPS encryption.
